Stamps 1964 to Date:
Unless specified, stamps are printed on -
Paper: White
Colour: Multicoloured
Printer: Printex Ltd Malta
Watermark: Maltese Crosses - Type I or Type II.
Paper is all watermarked with the same Maltese Crosses. The layout of the sheet
for printing is when you get Type I or II. It seem that when the stamps are vertical you are looking at Type I. When the stamps
are horizontal you are looking at Type II. Of course on some of the sideways stamps there are times when Type I is also applied.
(see watermarks examples below) Look at #6 Type I, then look at #6 Type II, it's just that
the paper is turned one quarter of the way to the left for printing purpose.
Stamps printed by Bundesdruckerei from 26 February 1999 to 14 July 2004 are on
Unwatermarked paper.
